Adult CLS

Please join us on Sunday Mornings at 9:00am for one of our Adult CLS classes.

More than just "Sunday School", we aim for CLS to provide an opportunity to fellowship and learn together in a small group environment.

New Members - Everyone

Facilitated by: Gary Price & Pastor Dan

This class is designed to give you a good understanding of what we believe according to scripture and how we function as a church body. It also gives you an opportunity to learn a little about our history, ask questions, and enjoy a time of fellowship.

Fearless by Max Lucado - Men's

Facilitated by: Ric Chatham

Finding freedom from your fears is easier than you think. Let Max Lucado help you or your small group explore and find a spiritual solution to the growing minefield of fear. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? In these six DVD sessions, Fearless addresses some of your biggest fears and shows you how the solution may be easier than you think.

Boundaries by Drs. Cloud & Townsend - Women's

Facilitated by: Sandy Blades

Boundaries addresses specific issues that confront today’s Christians. Issues such as: Living a life out of control, Having people take advantage of us, Having trouble saying no, Being disappointed with God because of unanswered prayers…and many more vital issues.

Jesus Among Other Gods by Ravi Zacharias - Everyone

Facilitated by: Jay & Dona Benford

No such thing as absolute truth? Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias' work is a brilliant defense of the unique truth of the Christian message. Exposing the futility of Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism, he also high-lights his own journey from despair and meaninglessness to the discovery that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Book(s) of the Bible - Everyone

Key contact: John Porch (facilitator varies)

This class usually studies a particular book of the Bible, but we some-times break from that in order to work through something else of interest to the class. The teaching responsibility is shared among various mem-bers of the group. The class is typically open to group discussion as we try to understand God's word, what the passages really mean, and how they relate to our lives as believers in the 21st century. We don't follow a strict quarterly schedule, so anyone is welcome to join in the class at any time.
