"To Know and Love Jesus Christ and To Make Him known."

Our Mission Statement was born out of a weekend leadership retreat in which it was our desire to have God lead us into a concise statement that encapsulated why we exist as a church?  Why are we here?  We are here to learn and help others to not only to “know about” Jesus, for there are many people who “know about” Jesus.  But we are also here to grow in love and help others to grow in their love for Him. For it is when we really love Jesus, that we will be obedient to Him and He in turn will show us more of who He is. (John 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.")  The results of such knowledge and love comes full circle when we then put Jesus on display in both word and deed in such a way that others will come to know Him.
