Benevolence Committee

The Benevolence Committee assists families in our church with varied needs. It is with a servant's heart that we wish to help each family in their time of need.

Crown Financial Ministries

Provides financial accountability, living within a budget, and using Godly principles with your finances.  A class is taught periodically for one quarter of the Christian Life Studies schedule.  A large part of the ministry is individual counseling.

Social Committee

Offers assistance with all church functions concerning food.  The committee is responsible for the kitchen and all supplies used.

Valentine Banquet

The annual event provides a time of fellowship, outreach, and involvement with members using their talents. The theme of the banquet changes every year.

Men’s Retreat

The annual men’s retreat is usually in September at Lake Champion, New York.  Check it out at http://www.priorityone.org

Ladies’ Retreat

The ladies’ retreat is usually planned for October.

Small Group Ministry

The purpose of the small group ministry is to promote spiritual growth in a more intimate setting.  The atmosphere promotes deeper study, dialogue, and connectedness.  Different small groups meet throughout the week.  Feel free to join one!

Music Ministries

The special music ministry provides individuals the opportunity to use their gifts during the worship services and on special occasions.  The adult choir meets Wednesday evenings during the school year in the sanctuary from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.  The choir sings during the 11:15 AM worship service on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

Men’s Fraternity

This ministry for men began September 19,2007. For more info, go to http://www.mensfraternity.com.

Church-Wide Fellowships

Fellowships  are planned twice a year.  Designed for fun and fellowship within the church family, the picnics and evenings  include activities for all ages such as basketball, volleyball, and swimming.  While the church family is together for our annual picnic, we also take the opportunity to have a baptismal service.

Vacation Bible School

The kids always have a great time at VBS as we reach out to our congregation and our community (our neighbors) with the love of Jesus Christ. This is an opportunity to be served by the family of God and to give them the opportunity to respond to the message of the good news of God’s love through Jesus.

Nursery Program

This ministry  provides assistance for families with  infants or toddlers at the 8:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services and for infants during Christian Life Studies classes held between services. It is also available on Wednesday evenings.

Wednesday Children’s Ministry

We use the Faithweaver Friends Curriculum.  Check it out at http://www.group.com!

Praise Team

The Praise Team leads the worship at the 11:15 AM service. They practice on Thursday evenings  in the sanctuary at 7:30 p.m.

Operation Christmas Child

TBC is this area’s collection point for Operation Christmas Child.  This ministry is only for a few intense weeks, but highly rewarding!!  To find out more about Operation Christmas Child visit http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC.

The O-team

O-team is short for The Onesiphorus Team.  It was named after Onesiphorus in 2 Timothy 1:16-18 who went and searched for Paul and brought refreshment and encouragement to him.  He did this because Paul could not leave his surroundings or circumstances.  The focus of the O-team is to minister loving Christian care to those who are unable to regularly attend the services of TBC because of illness, injury or disability.
