    Today we examine the response of Joseph, Jesus' earthly father. How did he respond when his betrothal was turned upside down, when the most powerful ruler of the land sought the life of his new child and when he was given godly direction regarding his family?

    5. What connotations come with the name "Jesus"?
    6. On a scale of 1 to 10, do you think our Western American culture believes sin exists (1 - yes, it does; 10 - no, it does not). Why do you think this?
    7. How does this impact the importance of Jesus?
    8. How can we help people see their need for Jesus?
